Wantisden Park can only accept bookings from persons over 18 years of age. For all-adult bookings, the person must be over 21 years of age. We reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving a reason.
When you submit your booking through the online reservation system you will receive an automated booking summary to the email address provided. This automated email does not form a contract between you and Wantisden Park. A contract shall only arise when Wantisden Park sends you a booking confirmation letter via email or post.
Damages & Cleaning
A fully refundable deposit of £50 per pod is required for a group booking (when more than one pod is booked for a family / friend group and to all adult bookings exceeding one couple). As long as the pods are left in a clean and tidy state and there has been no damage, the deposit will be refunded within five working days. The security deposit is payable with the balance payment.
Please let Wantisden Park know if anything gets broken so we can replace it for our next guests. We will only charge for replacements in exceptional circumstances as we expect a degree of wear and tear. If damage is directly attributable to the guest in either the pods or site facilities, then Wantisden Park reserves the right to request payment of up to £150.
Wantisden Park reserves the right to charge for any excessive cleaning above and beyond what they would normally expect in the pods or site facilities, this will be charged at £15 per individual staff hour.
Guests are reminded that they must leave the site in the same condition as when they arrived.
Wantisden Park reserves the right to modify the prices on the website, however, the price stated on the booking confirmation letter (sent after the automated booking summary) is binding.
Payments & Cancellations
If a booking is made 10 weeks or more before the start of your holiday, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total rental price is payable.
If a booking is made less than 10 weeks before the start of your holiday, the full rental price is payable on booking.
A booking is only secured when a non-refundable deposit is received.
The balance is payable 10 weeks before your holiday, a reminder will be sent to you by Wantisden Park. If the balance has not been paid within 14 days of the date of the reminder letter, Wantisden Park is entitled to annul the contract and retain the 30% deposit as cancellation compensation.
Cancellation policy: Wantisden Park will endeavour to re-let accommodation in the event of a cancellation. If successful, all monies paid will be refunded less an administration fee of £50 to cover re-advertising costs.
If the holiday is more than 10 weeks away and Wantisden Park is unable to re-let the accommodation, we will retain the deposit paid.
If the holiday is within 10 weeks and Wantisden Park is unable to re-let the accommodation, it is with regret that Wantisden Park will be unable to refund any monies paid. We recommend that you have appropriate holiday insurance to cover this eventuality.
Liability & Force Majeure
Wantisden Park does not accept liability for any loss or damage caused to equipment, property and personal effects belonging to the guests.
Wantisden Park shall not be liable for any failure to provide accommodation for hire as a result of factors which could reasonably be considered to be outside the control of Wantisden Park, including, but not limited, to strikes, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, accident, breakdown of plant or machinery, fire, flood, storm or default of suppliers or subcontractors.
A responsible adult must supervise children at all times whilst on site at Wantisden Park.
Under no circumstances are any visitors to Wantisden Park allowed to enter any areas of the grounds marked with any no entry signs.
Should any guest be unable to correct an aspect of poor behaviour or activities that are deemed offensive or unacceptable to Wantisden Park, Wantisden Park reserves the right to terminate their stay. The Manager’s decision is final.
