Our Venues
Wantisden Valley is able to provide a venue for civil ceremonies, partnerships and receptions in a beautiful and very private location in Suffolk. There are a variety of different buildings available designed to suit all needs as well as picturesque areas outside for photographs and drinks on a summers day. The unique surroundings and friendly service provides a wonderful atmosphere to ensure you have a wedding to remember.
The Barns

The Barn Complex has two rooms; the Mixing Barn is licensed to hold from 40 to 180 guests for civil ceremonies or partnerships and adjoining this, is the Main Barn, our reception room for any number of guests up to 300. The barns are beautifully restored brick and flint buildings which are fully carpeted and centrally heated. The Main Barn has a marquee lining inside which gives it a very special wedding look with a licensed bar, stage and large dance floor.
An exceptionally high standard of catering is provided ranging from canapes to a hot sit-down dinner to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. A selection of sample menus have been included but we can also tailor make a menu to suit your particular needs.

The Shepherd’s Cottage

The Shepherd’s Cottage is an 18th Century thatched building with arched gothic windows nestled on the edge of a medieval wood and overlooking extensive lakes. It is licensed for civil ceremonies, partnerships and wedding breakfasts for up to 40 guests. There is a large enclosed garden and patio area outside and inside there are beautiful features such as an open log fireplace and original brick floor. This is the perfect venue for an intimate occasion with friends and family.

Local Churches

Whilst Wantisden is licensed for all civil ceremonies, we understand that for some the church provides the perfect venue for your ceremony. We are very lucky to have several beautiful medieval churches close to us.
Town Halls

We are also close to the historic town of Woodbridge whose beautiful shire hall is a wonderful venue for your ceremony.
